90-Year-Old Angela Lansbury Gives The Audience Chills With Emotional Performance

Out of all the Disney films to have ever been released, “Beauty and the Beast” just might be one of the most beloved of all time.

In fact, the movie was so good that it was nominated for “Best Feature” at the Academy Awards. Something that rarely ever happens with animated movies.

Since then, the famous movie has stayed in the hearts and minds of millions of people all over the world. Children as well as adults loved the movie for their own reasons, but just about everyone could agree that the music was really some of the very best that they’ve ever heard.

With the catchy tunes and the memorable lyrics, something about this movie really honestly seemed magical. So when Angela Lansbury, (Mrs. Potts) appeared to sing “Tale as Old as Time,” for the 25th anniversary of the release of the film, you can easily understand why there wasn’t a dry eye in the entire audience!

Her performance really is one of a kind, and even after all of those years she’s managed to keep the same amount of gravitas and dignity to the role. 25 years later this movie still holds its own and is still played and beloved by children all over the world, and something tells us that it will be that way for generations and generations to come!
