Well, things have officially gotten weird again in the world of celebrity. To ‘make a comment on fame’, Kanye put a load of sleeping famous naked people in a huge bed.
I think we’re all supposed to be wondering how many of the celebs are, well, actually the celebs and not lookalikes – but I’m mostly wondering where I can get my hands on a bed that big. Just imagine.
The rapper hosted a viewing event in Los Angeles on Friday night to premiere the song, which the first ‘visual’ (AKA music video) from The Life of Pablo, that features those cutting Taylor Swift lyrics.
The NSFW video features what we’re pretty sure are lookalikes of Bill Cosby, Caitlyn Jenner, Amber Rose, Ray J, Kim Kardashian, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Donald Trump, Anna Wintour, George Bush and of course Taylor Swift.
It was inspired by American painter Vincent Desiderio, who presumably also likes naked people in over sized beds.
Talking about the video, he told Vanity Fair:
Its not in support or anti any of [the people in the video].
Its a comment on fame, we were very careful with shots that had [something] sexual to take them out”
It’s available to watch for a week on Tidal.
According to TMZ, Kanye is claiming that most of them are the real celebs and not lookalikes. Except Trump, that’s been confirmed to be a eerily realistic lookalike.
The video is pretty weird and very naked, so we struggle to believe many of those stars are legit.
There’s also Bill Crosby:
It didn’t take long for fans to start commenting on the weird video:
We’re not going to include the video, but if you search hard enough you’ll find it. This is the internet after all. Or, you know, you could pay for Tidal. One of the two.
