The NBA Finals come at you fast.

Let’s check in on the NBA Finals, shall we?

Oooh. Ah. Good Lord. That looks painful.

Here are the ugly particulars after two games in Oakland: The Golden State Warriors lead the Cleveland Cavaliers two games to zilch; the Warriors won those first two games by a combined 48 points, which is an NBA Finals record; the Warriors have beaten the Cavs seven straight times going back to last year’s Finals.

We could continue with more gory details but this Vine explains the situation just as well.

Here we have Steph Curry and LeBron James summing up the Finals so far. We see Curry, apparently a bit confused, wind up and uncork the perfect baseball pitch. And LeBron well, just watch.

That’s painful. And accurate. Painfully accurate, even.

Of course to put on our Serious Sports Discussion face here for a moment this series is much more than Curry vs. LeBron. In fact, Curry’s teammates including role players like Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala have carried most of the weight for Golden State so far. And LeBron is the least of the Cavaliers’ worries. (Ground control to Kyrie Irving … do you copy? Do you copy?)

But for all intents and purposes, Curry represents everything Warriors and LeBron represents everything Cavs making this the perfect Vine for our current 2016 NBA Finals moment.

Now, perhaps you wonder where this little bit of video magic came from. Vine user @tannervids put it together toward the end of the regular season LeBron’s failed catch went all viral in January; and Curry mimicked other sports during warmups in April.

The series moves to Cleveland for Game 3 on Wednesday night.
